In 2022, Atrium Health opened a new, state-of-the-art hospital campus known as Atrium Health Union West. The 150,000-square-foot standalone facility is located at the intersection of Highway 74 and Stallings Road in Union County. The hospital serves as an extension of Atrium Health Union, bringing high-quality and convenient access to care for the residents of western Union County and surrounding communities. The campus includes 40 acute care beds, 10 emergency department bays, three operating rooms, imaging and lab services, and a 67,000-square-foot medical office building with physician practices. The new location reflects Atrium Health's continuing efforts to address the accelerated community growth seen in Union County and ensures that residents continue to have local access to world-class inpatient and outpatient care.
